Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted a visit to address national troops in the eastern front on Tuesday. Zelenskyy announced that he met with fighters at the military base of the initial brigade of the state defense force Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, an urban center approximately 12 miles from Pokrovsk.

Critical Circumstances in the Area

Updated analysis from a national effort showed that opposition armies had made gains into Pokrovsk and its environs, though a large portion lacked clear dominance by both forces. The situation remains critical, with accounts indicating that opposition troops were digging in and building up positions in certain areas.

Invading troops continue to advance in the Pokrovsk front and are reportedly acting with increasing comfort within the city proper.

Research institutes observed that Ukrainian forces had freed a large area of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya area, on the eastern edge of the Pokrovsk effort.

National Aerial Attacks Inside the Federation

Ukrainian long-range drones attacked an industrial plant approximately 1,300km inside Russian territory at Sterlitamak. Local officials announced a detonation at the Sterlitamak facility that resulted in structural damage to be compromised, adding that the reason for the blast was not known. The Ukrainian military general staff stated there was extensive harm to the complex.

Defense units reported hitting a fuel processing plant at the location in the Russian region to the east of the capital. The degree of impact was currently analyzed. The Russian regional governor acknowledged a strike by numerous aerial vehicles near the area.

Russian Security Policy Changes

Zelenskyy urged the US to stay receptive to supplying Kyiv with long-range weapons. Addressing a European Union summit from the Pokrovsk area, the national leader also called for more western sanctions on the federation – including on Russia's gas and nuclear sectors – and said he sought accession to the union prior to the next decade.

The federal republic plans to raise its military aid to Ukraine by three billion euros next year to about a significant sum, the treasury department in Berlin said on the start of the week. This incorporates, among other things, heavy weapons, unmanned aircraft, protected carriers and the substitution of air defense units.
